KORAMU 100 bollards in Iceland

KORAMU 100 lit the pathways of the Elliðabraut residential development in Iceland.
Six new panoramic apartment buildings have been built in Elliðabraut. The engineering design for these homes was undertaken by EFLA while Arkping Nordic Office Architecture AS was responsible for the architectural design, with Teiknistofan Stord in charge of the landscaping and its architecture.
The buildings are interconnected by pathways, patios and open staircases to encourage human activity and foster interaction between residents.
The KORAMU 100 luminaires from ROVASI were chosen to light the outdoor spaces; front emitting bollard lights with a colour temperature of 3000K. The finish on the units was personalised for this project in the colour chosen by the client, RAL 7035 (Light Grey). Furthermore, the body of the luminaire was given a C5-M treatment, which is especially recommended for highly corrosive adverse environments.
KORAMU 100 luminaires offer strong resistance against the elements, with IP66 and IK10 protection ratings. They are perfect for lighting outdoor environments and allow for the creation of safe yet attractive lighting. Standing at 675 mm tall, the KORAMU 100 front emitting bollard lights are ideal for highlighting pathways and guiding pedestrians.
