ROVASI lights renovated library at Lanzarote Fishing School in Spain

The team at SAL Studio Arquitectura Lanzarote was chosen to undertake the interior design work for the renovation project on the Library at the Instituto Politécnico de Formación Profesional Marítimo Pesquera de Canarias (Polytechnic Institute for Professional Maritime Fishing Training of the Canary Islands) in Lanzarote.
The project has breathed new life into this space by giving it more energy and balance. The combination of materials, colours and textures has created a rather unique ambience. The library is now brighter and the open plan design achieves a perfect horizontal perspective on the space.
The TIRET 200 recessed linear luminaires and the BSM trimless effect downlights from ROVASI were selected to light this 75 m2 area and have been superbly integrated into the library décor. A CRI of 90 and a colour temperature of 3000K were chosen for optimal visual comfort and to guarantee a perfect work space for library users.
This project was carried out with the collaboration of Alumbrado Técnico Canario, lighting specialists and distributors, who gave full support on the ground and decisively contributed to its success.
